Our inventory includes a good selection of locally favorite fishing supplies including the current hot lures and tips on local honey holes. We specialize in carrying LIVE BAIT year round. For hunting season, we have a huge selection of ammo and hunting accessories (no firearms).

Bear Season starts this month, August 25. Early reports from baiters indicate a banner year coming up. My brother-in-law and his buddy are going bear hunting for the first time. They are going to Ross Lake Camps in mid-September. Last year, my son, brother and I had a fantastic bear hunting trip at the same place. |

Bass fishing is hot. Both Largemouth and Smallmouth are hungry and not very fussy. Surprisingly, a good number of Salmon are being caught on St. George. |

Ever hear of a tame partridge? I’ve had one come out of the woods to visit me whenever I would do yard work at the vacant house nearby. It followed me around like a tame chicken. |
